Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This privacy policy explains what information this website collects, how it is used and the choices you have. It describes the website as it currently operates. If new services such as analytics or advertising are added, this policy will be updated before they are switched on.

Summary

  • There is no analytics and no advertising on this website at present.
  • The website does not set tracking cookies.
  • If you use the contact form, your name, email address, subject and message are used only to reply to you.
  • The daily care checklist saves your ticks only in your own browser.

Information you send through the contact form

When you send a message through the contact form, the following is collected:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • The subject and content of your message

This information is used only to read and reply to your message. It is delivered by email using a third-party email delivery service (Resend) acting on the site owner's behalf, and then stored in the site owner's email account. It is not sold, rented or used for marketing.

You can also contact Ayman directly by email instead of using the form.

Spam protection

To prevent spam, the contact form uses a hidden field and checks how quickly the form was submitted. The server also counts recent submissions from each IP address for up to one hour, in temporary memory only, to limit abuse. These counts are not stored permanently or linked to your identity.

Information stored in your browser

The daily canary care checklist stores which tasks you have ticked, and today's date, in your browser's local storage. This information never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time with the "Reset" button or by clearing your browser's site data.

Server logs

Like most websites, the hosting provider may automatically record technical information such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. This is handled by the hosting provider under its own privacy policy.

Cookies

This website does not currently use cookies for tracking, analytics or advertising. See the cookie policy.

Articles sometimes link to other websites as sources. Those websites have their own privacy policies; this site is not responsible for their practices.

Children

This website is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices and rights

You can ask what information you have sent through the contact form is held, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted, by emailing aymandamak18@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local data-protection law.

Changes to this policy

If the way this website handles information changes — for example if analytics or advertising is introduced — this page will be updated first, with a new "last updated" date.
